Installing a new License
Once you have determined the size of your network topology; specifically the number of active Internal IPs – you will have to procure a Trisul License file. This document talks about how you can go about installing the file.
Issuing a new LicenseTop
After we determine the type of license you will require, we need one additional piece of information from you. The machineid which uniquely identifies the server or VM on which you are running Trisul.
Type the following command as send us its output when requesting a license.
Run the following command as root
trisul --machineid
This will give you a string which we need to issue the license. The string looks like this :
[root@localhost ~]# trisul --machineid 4087ACCD-4B0B-DE11-833A-00248CB93BDE [root@localhost ~]#
