TLS Metrics

This article helps with providing the steps for installing the TLS Metrics app in Trisul Network Analytics.

To provide Protocol information about the data encrypted with the help of several Metrics.

The App provides the following,

Metrics:

• TLS Versions : Traffic and flow using each TLS version in your network.
• TLS Cert Public Key Algorithms : Certficate metrics, meters type of public key algorithm (RSA/ECC). If using ECC, the name of the curve, or “explicit-parameters”.
• TLS Cert Signature Algorithms : Certificate metrics, meters,type of signature algorithms.

Edges:

• Edges between Signature Algorithm & Common name.
• Edges between Public Key Algorithm & Common name.
• Edges between TLS & Flow Tuples.

1. You can install the app by logging on as Admin and selecting Web Admin > Manage > Apps > TLS Metrics Pack.
2. Restart the Probes after installing the app.

For TLS Versions,

• Select Retro > Retro Counters.
• Select the 'TLS Version' counter group.
• You can also view the edges by exploring the entries for further analysis.

For TLS Certificate Algorithms,

• Select Retro > Retro Counters.
• Select the 'TLS Public Key Algo' counter group.
• You can also view the edges by exploring the entries for further analysis.

For TLS Signature Algorithms,

• Select Retro > Retro Counters.
• Select the 'TLS Sig Algo' counter group.
• You can also view the edges by exploring the entries for further analysis.
